Auditions can be intimidating! But did you know that there is actually an art to The Audition?
Join us for a Workshop with the goal of helping aspiring actors feel GREAT about their next audition. Nerves can be normal — but so can feeling awesome! The workshop will provide an opportunity to work on your audition material in a safe “no-pressure” environment with professionals who will provide instant feedback and coaching that could take your audition to the next level. In this workshop, you will learn confidence- boosting skills that help alleviate performance anxiety, learn the art of owning the audition-room, and receive performance notes that will allow you to put your best foot forward.

The event will focus on the upcoming performances of Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical and Once Upon a Mattress.
Participation will not directly influence your casting but will seek to build your confidence while auditioning.
This is a pay-what-you-can-afford event with all funds going to Waco Civic Theatre's East Waco Satellite. Our East Waco Initiative is designed to reach individuals who may otherwise not have the opportunity to participate in theatre.
We are asking you to consider a $25 donation, but everyone is welcome who has registered.
